This week OGF introduces the new president of Richland County Foundation, who’s been on the job since mid-March.

Bradford “Brady” Groves

Previous Job
Business Development, MedCentral Health System

Why did you make the move?
Being “homegrown” and involved in a number of community projects over the years, I have always been interested in preserving the viability of our community. With so many positive things happening in our area, it was very appealing for me to join an organization that could identify and address the emerging needs of our community in order to effect long-term, positive change.

What do you hope to accomplish?
I want to increase the awareness of Richland County residents of the breadth of our philanthropic contributions and community leadership. In addition, let people know there are many levels of support by which they can become involved with the Foundation.

What has surprised you so far?
The depth of knowledge the staff and board have of the community and its non-profit organizations.

What is in your CD player?
